While our painting group worked, war broke out. German, UK and two Polish forces fought 2 rounds each.

- Saturday the 15th will be the next Shadowfist Saturday. Bring your EDH and vintage decks.
- Thursday the 20th is the L5R release event for Dead of Winter.
- January 30th is the pre-release party for Magic’s Mirrodin Besieged. A sign up sheet will be out because we are limiting the game to 32 players. Remember to choose your faction! We will be running a sealed event followed by a draft.

At the end of the year, the board game people came out in force. Meanwhile, the release of Dystopia and the store only recently getting Warhammer resulted in a bump in Miniature sales. My top two card games (Magic and L5R) didn’t have a new release, so sales for those games died down quite a bit.
We got a shipment yesterday that includes the new Command and Colors Napoleonics and the brand new BattleStar Galactica expansion, Exodus.
Today we got Tikal II, a restock on Dixit and GoSu (Goblin Supremacy) and more!

- Friday the 31th we will try to hold a two headed giant Magic Tournament. We will be closing as soon as the tournament is done.
- Saturday, we will open at noon instead of 10AM, so that we can all sleep in a little bit after the New Year’s party.
- There is a Magic Draft this week. Next Wednesday will be alternate format Magic night.
