Magic Dominaria Prereleases & Open House

Magic Open House

On April 14 we will be running a Magic Open House to teach new players the game from 11 to 5. Anyone that comes in and plays a game gets a foil Llanowar Elves.

7th Dimension Games will be running 3 prereleases for Dominaria April 21 & 22. Each player will get 6 packs of Dominaria, a rare card that is foil with the date stamped on it, and an additional card, also foil with the date stamped on it, that is Legendary, and a spin down die. From those packs they must construct a deck and play in the tournament.

Sign up is $30 per player per event.

Sunday at noon is our event for our more aggressive players, we’ll be running 5 rounds, you must go 3-2 or better to win packs. The Saturday events are for casual players and will be our flat payout of 1 prize pack per round won.

Players that pay at least a week in advance get a free pack of sleeves and a drink.

L5R League

We now have the official L5R Stronghold Kit.

For Tuesdays in April/May/June we will be running leagues that last 4 weeks each with different prize cards.

April: All players will receive 1 extended art Rout card. Each week the top player gets a Code Card that allows you vote for your favorite clan and first choice of an extended art Entrenched Position card, a set of acrylic fate tokens.

On week 4 we will award a plastic Imperial Favor card, and the Best of Clan gets the extended art card for their clan.

$5 tournament entry.

X-Wing Furball Escalation

Saturday 4/7 at 1 PM we will be running a multiplayer X-Wing event: Escalation Furball! All players start with a 15 point ship on a single board. If you kill a ship, you get victory points equal to the ship that was killed. The person that lost the ship, gets an additional 5 points to spend on a new ship! So, when you lose your 15 point ship, you bring back a 20 point ship for revenge! First player to get to 100 victory points wins!

Make a $5 purchase of store credit to play, winner gets a drink of their choice.

Warmachine Steamroller

Sunday, March 25, will be a 75 point Steamroller for Warmachine

Start time: Doors open at 11:00am, dice roll at 12:00pm.
Prizes: Players that finish with a positive record get store credit.
Entry Fee: $10, $2 goes to terrain fund, the rest to store credit prizes.
Army Lists: 75 points. Second list is optional. Baseline character restrictions, so you cannot bring Wurmwood in both of your lists.
Number of Rounds: 3-4, depending on turn out.
Round/Turn lengths: We will be using the Deathclock variant (60 minutes). Deployment is on the clock.
Scoring: We will use the Control Point variant for final standings.
Scenarios: Steamroller 2017
Painting: No painting requirement.

Star Wars Legion

Thursday March 22 will be the release of Star War Legion. To celebrate we are leaving the afternoon of Saturday, the 24th, open on the schedule for casual games, painting, etc.

Anyone Legion purchased from the 22nd to 25th is 20% off.

We are trying to see if we can get enough players into the game to keep it going.

On March 10th, we will be having a free event. 5 designers will be showing us their games-in-progress, that is games that are unpublished!

You get to play the games, rate them, and find how they are broken – hopefully the designers will fix them!
