We’ll be grabbing several tables for a game demo called General Quarters this Saturday at noon.
It’s 1942 in the South Pacific – almost a year after Pearl Harbor jumped the USA into World War II. The Imperial Japanese Navy is running supplies and troops to their army almost every night through the center of the Solomon Islands chain – The Slot – to try and retake Guadalcanal’s critical airfield. They have been ordered to “supply or die” and the US Navy is committed to stopping them. Every night a deadly game of cat-and-mouse occurs with the USN trying to intercept the Japanese ships and transports. The question is, who is the cat and who is the mouse? Take command of some of the best ships and crews in the world and their brave opponents. 1-2 ships per person, everything supplied by the GM. No experience needed!
Hidden in the huge pile of restocks we also received Sherlock Holmes, Consulting Detective and the Avalon expansion for The Resistance.
We will be receiving the new Shadowfist card game in January. Shadowfist is the multiplayer Hong Kong action movie card game, To celebrate the release, we will be holding a release party on January 19th to teach new players the game.

This Saturday at noon we’ll be holding a miniatures game set in the Iron Kingdom:

Our friendly local AEG rep will be here on Dec 26th to teach and play AEGs line of board and card games at noon.
On Saturday, Jan 12th, at noon, we will be running the Global Storyline Event, Honor & Treachery to support the new Learn to Play set.
December 30th we will be hosting a standard 35 point Gaining Ground tournament – until the last round when we break out the Special Christmas Scenario!
