On Wednesday Dec 31st we will be staying open to have a low-key New Year’s Eve party. Some people will be bringing in food for a potluck. We plan on closing before 2AM. Our insurance won’t cover alcohol, so the party will be dry.
You are welcome to come out and play games until next year!
Coming up is the Pre-release for the new set of Magic, Fate Reforged. Once again we will be using pre-release boxes. Each box contains: one Khans of Tarkir booster pack, four Fate Reforged packs; one Seeded Pack with cards in the colors of your chosen Clan and a promo card; a clan identity sticker; a Spindown die; and a clan identity button. Your clan is one of the 5 color sets of enemy wedges.
Clans will be selected at the start of the event, based on the order that you paid for the event. The sooner you stop by and pre-pay, the more likely you will get your clan choice. Sign up is $30 per player except for the Sunday noon event, which is $35.
Sunday at noon we’ll be running 5 rounds, you must go 3-2 or better to win packs, and we will be adding 3 packs per player to the prize pool. The other other 5 events will be our flat payout of 1 prize pack per round won (for the Two Headed event, 1 prize pack per head per round).

The January 23rd FNM will be sealed or draft for Fate Reforged.
January 3 at 1 PM, Bob Fanelli will be running a dungeon crawl. Each player will have a team of characters who are exploring a cavern system in hopes of finding wondrous treasure. The tricky part is dealing with the underworld’s denizens – and the other players. He will take about 8 players. Please contact us if you wish to be in the game.

On New Year’s Eve, Wednesday the 31st, we will stay open until 1AM and we encourage you to bring food to share.
Thursday, January 1 we will be open our normal noon-9.
