The difference a month makes.
When I opened the store, I decided to try to have a full service unplugged game experience. We have board/card games, CCGs, miniature games and RPGs. The balance of these games changes by the season, and release dates. For example, in December we get a spike in board game sales as a group of people that only shop here for Christmas come in. But January had new CCG releases for both Legends of the Five Rings and Magic The Gathering – our two biggest collectible card games (CCGs). So, we saw a dramatic shift between where we actually made money between the two months.
That’s interesting, and obviously important for you to track. However, I think the pie chart comparison would work better visually if the corresponding data—say both CCGs—used the same color in both pie charts.

The different departments have different margins normally, so yes it does change.
