The difference a month makes.

When I opened the store, I decided to try to have a full service unplugged game experience. We have board/card games, CCGs, miniature games and RPGs. The balance of these games changes by the season, and release dates. For example, in December we get a spike in board game sales as a group of people that only shop here for Christmas come in. But January had new CCG releases for both Legends of the Five Rings and Magic The Gathering – our two biggest collectible card games (CCGs). So, we saw a dramatic shift between where we actually made money between the two months.

  1. That’s interesting, and obviously important for you to track. However, I think the pie chart comparison would work better visually if the corresponding data—say both CCGs—used the same color in both pie charts.
