Last announcement for 2009
During this odd year-ending week, feel free to stop by during the afternoon for a board game or two – we open at noon from Tuesday to Friday.
Coming up on Saturday January 30th we will be running a Warmachine Game using the new rule set. If you know you need a book or deck of cards, let me know so that I can pre-order everything.
This week:
Tuesday: A friend of mine wants to play the BattleStar Galactica board game. We could use an extra couple of players in the late afternoon or early evening.
Wednesday night, the figure painters will be in the store doing what they do best.
Thursday, we will be playing Legends of the 5 Rings and World of Warcraft CCGs, unless people demand it we will close before the New
Year arrives.
Friday, will be open at noon as usual. At 6 we will be running Magic. This is an official tournament, but technically not yet FNM.
Saturdays are always busy:
10AM: Pokemon
11AM: AT-43
Noon: Monsterpocalypse – every player earns a prize!
3:00 PM Arcane Legions!
5 or 6 as the crowd filters out, we have open board games. The game cabinet is full of interesting things, and you can feel free to bring your own.
Sunday the Flames of War Escalation League will bring out a 600 point army.
Hey all – I feel pretty confident that I will have 600 points of Romanians by Sunday… Anybody up for an Escalation League match on Sunday Jan 3rd? If so, what time?
I’d be interested in joining in a game of BSG on Tuesday if we could start after 7pm, or in future games if that’s not convenient. I’ve played once.
I’m interested in BattleStar today, but it depends entirely on the start time (and projected finish time). Can you clarify?
Glen said they’d wait for me, so start time will be around 7pm. I’ll try to come earlier if possible. Should take around three hours not counting going over the rules. Have you played before? Looks like there’s a couple new players so you might want to start going over the rules before I arrive.
