Another day, another batch
There is a group of 4 guys that have decided to play Twilight Imperium or Warrior Knights on Saturday June 26 (the next EPGS day). That means they have 2 or 4 empty seats. Let me know if those appeal to you.
Currently, I am negotiating with a couple of new landlords so I can move the store in September. Watch for details.
This Wednesday we plan to run our first D&D Encounter. D&D Encounters is a new program from Wizards to run small group events that only last an hour or two. We’ll tentatively say that we are starting at 6, but feel free to ask for more details as they are available.
I’ve been discussing the idea of a used board game auction. Currently, I am looking at August 14, more details as the date approaches.
This past week we’ve had a resurgence of the Call of Cthulhu Living Card Game. Tuesday I will be ordering another batch of expansions, if you are looking for something specific, let me know.

Wednesday night, the figure painters will be making their learning by doing roles. We added a few new faces recently, and we’d be happy to find some more. No magic draft.
Thursday, we will be playing Legends of the 5 Rings.
Friday, starting at 6:30 we will be running Magic. Most of our players are interested in arriving and starting earlier, so we will be trying that.

Just enough arrived today to top us off.
This Saturday, bring your 15 point army out and fight! If you don’t have an army yet, come out and watch the fun (we’ll sell you the army afterwards). Registration starts at 1 and the battle starts at 2.
No need to paint your figures, but you will need to have them assembled and no proxies are allowed. For our first tournament, there is no entrance fee and we will be awarding Steamroller certificates to the winners.
New cards, new boardgames, new books arrived yesterday and today.
Today, a few people asked if we were open for Memorial Day. Since Mondays are my one day off, the answer is no.

Boardgamers may be interested in that new expansions for Carcassonne, Talisman, Race for the Galaxy and Dominion are all in stock.

Sunday is Magic Elder Dragon Highlander. Rules available at http://www.dragonhighlander.net We will start at 1 or whenever we have enough bodies.
Also Sunday is the next Battletech RPG event at 1.

Today’s shipment was mostly for our painters who also modify their figures. We restocked our magnets, brass, Apoxie and drill bits.
