Today’s shipment from California was almost all custom ordered.
However, the metal dice in a leather pouch was something I just added in at the last minute for fun.
- I’d like to thank all my Magic players for making Friday our largest group yet.
- My new landlord is working with the township to give me a date when construction will be completed at 357 Easton Rd, Glenside PA 19038.
- This Saturday 6:00 we have three people that want to play Magic Archenemy, so they are looking for a couple extra people.
- There is a Magic Draft this week.
- Since the next L5R tournament comes so quickly after the release of Empire at War, we will be allowing proxies for the next couple of weeks.
- If you know any small gamers, are t-shirts are almost gone. We only have one of each: men’s medium; women’s medium and women’s small.
- Magic Scars of Mirrodin is now available for pre-order.
The future
- Sundays, Ezra (one of our younger players) wants to start a D&D 4th Edition group. He has 2 players so far and wants to add a few more.

Yesterday I got an important restock from Battlefront.
Today, I got a small order to make my Yu-gi-oh players happy – and some more WoW archives.
Back on June 30th, my distributor sent me a note saying “How many of the new magic duel decks (Elspeth vs Tezzeret) do you want?” Since no one had asked about it, I gave him a low number.
This week my distributor announced that had to allocate them. So, ever deck that I have is now reserved for a specific person. At least I have enough to cover the ones that did order it.
If you have one of these tickets: 287042, 287057, 287073, 287103 please stop in to pick up your free game. If you don’t claim your prize by Sunday night, there will be a new drawing.
When I was at a July 4th party, I said something about boardgames at the store, and someone else said “Isn’t your store mostly miniatures?” Well, no. Personally, I would be happier if more of the profits were coming from board games, but the simple fact is that after the Magic draft got rolling, our profits for CCGs jumped up.
RPGs jumped up this month with the arrival of Dark Sun, normally it is a little lower.

- There is a door prize raffle going on right now. Each day that you walk into the store you will be given a ticket with a chance to win one of these four games: Rush n’ Crush; Myth Pantheons; Straw; or The Isle of Necreaux. The drawing will be when the 200 tickets are gone, or Thursday at noon. Winning ticket numbers will appear on the blog and in the Facebook Fan Page.
