This Saturday we will be running a Pre-Qualifier for the World Wide Catan Championship. For a $15 entry, we you get a chance to go to Origins free to compete in the Qualifier, then on to the Championships themselves! We have a sign-up sheet in the store. If you are interested, or know someone who is interested, please let us know. Currently we have half the number of sign-ups required to run an official event.

Monday is the official start to our Flames of War Escalation league. If you actually want to find an opponent for mid-week, we suggest using our forums to find an opponent.

Tuesday nights we have been averaging a single game of Malifaux. If we need to either organize a different night or something else, let us know.

We will now be starting the Magic Draft on Wednesdays at 7:00 sharp. Last week we had several new players, so if you haven’t been out for a while, feel free to come back.

Our calendar should be up to date with all the latest happenings.

We just got our copies of Thunderstone Advance for the Pre-release on Saturday! At 6:00PM you’ll be able to buy a copy, and get a free set of Avatar cards. Next week the cards go on sale for $9.99.

Two of the long awaited games arrived yesterday. Wallenstein was the original inspiration for the game Shogun (conquer lands while keeping your peasants from revolting). A new printing is finally available.

Twlight Imperium: Rex re-implements the mechanics from Dune (which has been long of print).

Monday is President’s Day. If you have the day off, feel free to stop in and see us. We have an open box of Pamplona, and we still need someone to open our demo copy of Automobile.

Thursday night we will be running a second L5R sealed event. Everyone will get a chance to play the clan of their choosing.

Sunday we will be having the Magic Game Day, our usual prize format of a pack for all. Sunday’s buy in is mandatory.

We will now be starting the Magic Draft on Wednesdays at 7:00 sharp.

Warmachine War Torn Alliances continues until March 4.

The Future

  • We will be running a Thunderstone Advance: Towers of Ruin pre-release game day on March 3rd. Contact us before the end of month if you want to buy a copy of Thunderstone Advance that day to receive your free mini-expansion of 25 Avatar cards. After the pre-release, these cards will cost $9.99.
  • On March 5th we will be starting our Flames of War Escalation league. We still have some of the new mini-rules available for free, just bring in your old rules to get your sticker.
