Because of July 4th, all of our shipments arrived at once this week. So, we didn’t have time for normal glamour shots.

New games this week:

  • Mysterium Hidden Signs – the first expansion for Mysterium
  • Lost in R’lyeh – a card game set in a terrible and ancient city, where Cthulhu awaits to devour you.
  • Dastardly Dirigibles – a card game to build the best Dirigible with the parts you have on hand now.
  • Star Trek Panic – Borrowing the mechanisms of Castle Panic, but now you can play as Captain Kirk and the rest of the crew.

Also this week we received our first shipment of 7th Dimension Glue! Bob Smith Industries is making this just for us!

Magic the Gathering: Eldritch Moon Prerelease

7th Dimension Games will be running 6 prereleases for Eldritch Moon July 16 & 17. Each player will get 2 packs of Shadows Over Innistrad and 4 packs of Eldritch Moon, a rare card that is foil with the date stamped on it and a spin down die.

Sign up is $30 per player per event. Your second through sixth prerelease is only $25 when paying in store.

  • Saturday 12:01 AM (Just after Friday midnight)
  • Saturday 9AM
  • Saturday Two Headed Giant at 2PM
  • Saturday 6PM – This event WILL sellout in advance
  • Sunday Noon
  • Sunday 6PM

Sunday at noon we’ll be running 5 rounds, you must go 3-2 or better to win packs. The other 4 events will be our flat payout of 1 prize pack per round won.

Two headed Giant will be a 3 round event – everyone gets a prize pack, and 1 additional prize pack per round won.

New board games: Imhotep – you are a builder in ancient Egypt trying to become famous; Sushi Go Party! – now, up to 8 players can compete to make the best combinations of Sushi; The Grizzled: At Your Orders – the first expansion for the game.

New Roleplaying Games this week: Cat: A Little Game about Little Heroes – protect your human from the hidden dangers; 1879 – a game set in a weird science version of the Victorian Era; Valiant – a superhero RPG; Night’s Black Agents – secret agents vs vampires; The Ninja Crusade – because why wouldn’t you want to roleplay a ninja?

Warmachine Mark 3 Launch Event

On Sunday July 10th, we will be running our Full Steam event for Mark 3!

This event will be free to anyone that pre-ordered a battlegroup or faction deck (and has picked them up), or $5 for anyone who did not.

  • Single day event
  • Round pairings like a tournament but not really a tournament
  • Rounds are timed but players are not
  • 75 points
  • Uses the scenarios found in Prime and Primal
  • Awards are Best Player / Best Painted / Best Sport
  • Players score points for completing in-game achievements
  • Player with most points wins Best Player award (this isn’t necessarily who won the most games)

All Day Board Games!

Our schedule has been very busy this year on the weekends. So, for the next two weeks, we are going to do open board game play all day on Saturdays. So, on June 25 and July 2 bring in your favorite game, or buy a new one here at the store, and play!

I am Your Father’s Day

I am Your Father

On June 18th, from noon to 5 PM we will be hosting a learn to play Star Wars X-Wing day! So, grab a father figure, other family member, friend, or bravely come alone to learn to fly!

If you have never played, we will put you on the demo table with the starter box. If you have played, bring along your forces to fly!

Alternate art cards for Luke Skywalker & Darth Vader will be given out to anyone who flies (while supplies last).
