Magic Customer Appreciation Day

On Saturday October 3, we will be having an all-day (11AM-10PM) casual event.

Anyone that comes in and plays a casual game, and gives us their DCI number, will get a free booster pack of Battle for Zendikar and entered into a drawing. We will two drawings one for a From the Vault: Angels and one for a Battle for Zendikar Fat Pack.

Winner will be announced on our blog at the end of the night.

Also, since this is the release weekend, anyone playing gets a Blight Herder

Painting Contest

In cooperation with PHD and Army Painter, we are holding a painting contest with a $50 prize.

You register for the store competition and purchase a miniature before Oct 2, painting starts on Oct 3. This miniature is the one you will be painting and bringing back for judging on October 28-31.

  • We will be taking a picture of you and the winning model and post it here and submit it to PHD
  • Winner receives $50 credit towards any Army Painter paints or supplies
  • The competition is for miniatures that come on a 40mm base or smaller. Example: No colossal miniatures with a toe on a 40mm base.
  • To ensure each miniature is fairly judged on its own merits no dioramas are allowed.

Rental Library

We now have a small, experimental, rental library. You can take a game home for 6 days for 10% of the MSRP with a refundable deposit of 10%. If you chose to buy a game on the day you return it, we will discount the game sale by the rental fee.

Furball Escalation!

On Saturday 9/19 at 1 PM we will be running a multiplayer X-Wing event: Furball Escalation!

All players start with a 15 point ship on a single board. If you kill a ship, you get victory points equal to the ship that was killed. The person that lost the ship, gets an additional 5 points to spend on a new ship! So, when you lose your 15 point ship, you bring back a 20 point ship for revenge!

First player to get to 100 victory points wins!
